1. Greek cooking: principles and practice
The guests will first, learn the basic principles of greek and mediterranean cooking regarding local ingredients, their uses, and traditional recipes. They will understand the fundamental philosophy behind the Mediterranean diet. After that they will take active part in the cooking process, learn how to cook a multitude of authentic greek dishes, including greek salad, tzatziki, cheesepie (tyropita), mpriam in the oven (a mixture of potatoes and vegetables, oven-cooked) and greek barbeque
2. Dining in the garden
After all the delicious dishes have been prepared, all the guests will take part in the actual dining process and consume the fruits of their endeavours. The dinner will be served in the Hostess’ garden, and will offer the opportunity for exchange of ideas and experiences, a lot of chit-chat, and getting to know the famous greek hospitality in real terms
