The guests will have the chance to explore the century-long wealth of authentic embroidery and needlework, via an exciting journey through photos, books, cards and presentations. They will also examine actual traditional embroidery work that has been passed through generations from greek grandmothers to their daughters, and convey the vibrant local identity and way of life

2. Creating embroidery souvenirs
After having appreciated the way old embroidery convey the authentic greek traditions, the guests will play an “embroidery game” whereby special designing stamps, with themes stemming from traditional ornamental patterns, are used in order to alow the practitioners to hands-on transform an actual embroidery piece of work into their own personal souvenir that carries strong elements of the greek folk tradition and artwork
